LBNL RUNAROUND COMMITTEE INSTRUCTIONS:
REFRESHMENTS


ONE MONTH BEFORE THE RUN:

Order the following from the cafeteria (X5357) using the runaround account number
Corn chips	                  2 large bag cases (15/case)
Lemonade	                  40 gallons
oranges	                  2  cases cut up
cups	                     1200 (including some for water table)
tablecloths	              6
napkins and plates          400 small of each
Cheese and cracker platter  150 servings
Fruit squares platter       150 servings
Carrots and celery          100 servings
Ice for punch and water
Water                       6 JUGS

Note: a two wheel freight dolly will be needed from the Cafeteria to carry the water supplies.

Communicate with helpers to make sure they know they are assigned to refreshments and to assure their attendance

WEEK BEFORE THE RUN

Notify C&M Custodial Services of need for extra trash cans at Cafeteria Area-Bob Berninzoni

DAY OF THE RUN:

Be at the Cafeteria well in advance of the Run (11 AM )

Put tablecloths on the tables (6) - three by cafeteria and three by Bldg 70

Give water jugs and supply of cups to water table coordinator

Set up refreshments on tables in two separate areas- 1 by the Cafeteria and 1 by Bldg 70. Arrange refreshments tables so that the punch is available first and so that people can walk down both sides of the food tables. It helps to have cups of punch filled in advance and to keep pouring additional drinks. It 's a good idea to be sure table walk area is not hindered by sprinkler heads-put tables over them.

Serve refreshments to participants
